Note: If the same data for RFQ to be used for P/O, that RFQ Data will be transferred into P/O Directory.

FTP access:

Customers may access KCA's 24-hour a day FTP server for files uploading. When accessing this site, Customers will use anonymous as their username and their e-mail address as password. Once the files are uploaded and the anonymous user has disconnected, they will no longer see the file; this is known as a "blind" ftp. Only the owner, or in this case KCA, will have access to these files with the proper login. Some users may also need the "Passive FTP Mode" turned on their FTP Client Software.

Instructions:
1. Invoke FTP session by accessing our FTP server @ ftp.kcamerica.com
2. Login as anonymous
3. Enter password: guest
4. Select the correct directory*
5. Use file transfer utility to upload files
6. End session

Hints:

All users are responsible for their own login name and password. If you are logging in for the first time, enter your first and last name at the appropriate prompts and ensure all spelling is correct. When creating a password, select on that is easy to remember.

When transmitting files please avoid generic or ambiguous file names (ex. GERBERS.ZIP). We recommend that the file name is derived from a fabrication number or design name.

Always compress and/or consolidate files prior to transmitting data.

Using DOS naming conventions is preferred. Use e-mail to communicate that a file has been sent.
